The Riviera Chinese New Year - Snake Edition features a 39 mm steel case with polished and satin-finished finishes, and is equipped with our Baumatic manufacture movement with date function. This timepiece features a smoked grey sapphire dial, gilded attributes and is mounted on an interchangeable black rubber and alligator strap. It also features a metallic gilded snake signature on the back. As the Year of the Snake rings in, Baume & Mercier presents the new Riviera Chinese New Year - Snake Editiom. The watch's Roman numerals, hands and hour-markers are gilded, a color embodying nobility, glory and wealth. The delicate gilded serpentine seconds hand and the gilded snake on the caseback are all evocative of the wishes for happiness that the Chinese venerate and express to their loved ones at the start of each year.
