At the dawn of the partnership between Jaeger and LeCoultre, the Duoplan represented a genuine industry revolution. Built on two superimposed planes, the Duoplan calibre was an invitation for both companies to express their creativity with beautiful and inventive designs. It was also a revolution for LeCoultre & Cie, which, thanks to the Duoplan, made the transition from a movement and component producer to a full-fledged watch manufacturer. From its structured case to its signature gadroons, Arabic numerals, distinctive lugs and sword-shaped hands, this watch is a true ode to Art Deco. Equipped with the Jaeger-LeCoultre Duoplan 403 manual-winding calibre, this circa 1934 watch features a steel case and a signature black calfskin cord strap.
